LPGA Q-School First Round

Nathalie Mansson shot 1-under par 71 to finish day one in a tie for 18th. The All-American is one of 33 golfers to shoot below par in the first round.
Ginny Brown is tied for 96th after an 18-hole total of 3-over par 75, while Violeta Retamoza closed out the first round at 15-over par.
Second round action begins Wednesday with Retamoza teeing off at 7:45 a.m. Mansson follows at 8:05 a.m. and Brown starts action at noon.
The field will be cut to the top-70 players and ties following the second round. The top-60 players and ties following four rounds of play will advance into the Qualifying Stage II.
