Tennessee basketball coach Cuonzo Martin is serving as Grand Marshal of the WIVK Santa Claus Parade in Downtown Knoxville Friday.

The parade begins on the corner of Howard Baker Junior Boulevard and Hall of Fame Drive (at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum) at 7 p.m. and will last approximately 45 minutes.

Floats, marching bands, dancers and Santa Claus himself all will make their way along Howard Baker to Church Avenue, turn right onto Gay Street and turn right again onto Jackson Avenue.

The intersection of Jackson Avenue and Willow Avenue marks the end of the parade route.

The parade is an element of Knoxville's annual Christmas in the City festivities.
