The matchup against Kentucky marks the SEC opener for the Vols and Lady Vols.
Three Teams in the Postseason: In 2011-12, Indiana finished third in the Big Ten and 10th at the NCAA Championships. Kentucky was seventh at the SEC Championships and 21st at the NCAA Championships. The Vols were fourth in conference at 22nd at the NCAA Championships.

Three Teams in the Postseason: Indiana was second in the Big Ten and 13th at the NCAA Championships last year. Kentucky placed ninth in the SEC Championships. The Lady Vols, in a record-setting season, were second in the SEC and seventh in NCAA.
