THIS WEEK IN LADY VOL GOLF...
Lady Vols Host 16th Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship
A total of 15 teams travel to Rocky Top this weekend as Tennessee hosts the 16th Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championships at Holston Hills Country Club. It is the third year the tournament has been held at the par-72, 6,447 yard course.
The Competition
Eleven of the 16 teams featured in this year's field advanced or had an individual advance to NCAA postseason last year. The Championships also showcases five teams in the top 30 in both the latest GolfWeek/Sagarin and Golfstat rankings. The complete field includes Chattanooga, East Carolina, Eastern Kentucky, Florida State, Furman, Iowa State, James Madison, Memphis, Miami, Mississippi State, Northwestern, Penn State, Purdue, Tennessee, Texas A&M and UTSA.
