?????Jason Witten enjoyed a career day in the Cowboys??? 28-27 come-from-behind win over the Lions on Sunday. Witten caught a career-high 15 passes for a career-high 138 yards and a touchdown. His 15 catches tie the NFL single-game record for receptions by a tight end. The touchdown reception was the game-winner with 22 seconds remaining in the game and also somewhat redemptive. Witten had fumbled away the go-ahead score at the goal line on Dallas??? previous possession.
?????Jamal Lewis helped the Browns inch closer to a playoff berth with his efforts on Sunday, rushing for 118 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries in Cleveland???s 24-18 win over the Jets. Lewis??? longest run of the game was a 31-yard scamper for a touchdown with 1:31 remaining in the game that sealed the win for the Browns. With three games to play, Lewis is 79 yards from eclipsing the 1,000-yard mark for the sixth time in his career. The Browns are 8-5 and leading the chase for the last AFC playoff spot.
?????Peyton Manning didn???t have to throw much, but when he did, he was successful as the Colts??? romped over Baltimore, 44-20 on Sunday night. Manning finished the game 13-of-17 for 249 yards and four touchdowns. He now has 302 career touchdown passes, which is fourth in NFL history.
?????Defensive quick hits: Albert Haynesworth returned from a nagging injury to play a significant number of snaps in the Titans 23-17 loss to the Chargers, posting three tackles and a sack ??? Eagles linebacker Omar Gaither posted a game-high 10 tackles and forced a fumble in Philadelphia???s 16-13 loss to the Giants ??? Seattle cornerback Deon Grant intercepted Arizona???s Kurt Warner on the opening possession of the game in the Seahawks 42-21 win over the Cardinals ??? The pick led to Seattle???s first score of the game.
