Noting Tennessee
- Tennessee improved to 3-1 (2-1 SEC), and Mississippi fell to 1-3 (0-2 SEC).
- Today's win was the 750th all-time victory in Tennessee football history.
- The Vols entered the game ranked No. 10 by the Associated Press and No. 9 by USA Today. Mississippi was not ranked.
- Tennessee returns to action Saturday vs. Georgia at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tenn. (CBS, 3:30 p.m. ET)
Tennessee-Ole Miss Series
- Tennessee leads the series 43-18-1dating back to 1902 and is 24-5 in Knoxville.
- The Vols have won their last 12 games vs. the Rebels.
- The last time Ole Miss beat Tennessee was in 1983, a 13-10 win in Knoxville.
- In last year's contest, Tennessee rallied for a 21-17 win in Oxford, Miss.

Phillip Fulmer's Record

Ground Game Guns Down Rebels
- TB Gerald Riggs Jr. finished with 125 yards on 26 carries for his eighth career 100-yard game.
- Riggs scored the Vols' first touchdown with a 2-yard run to the left side.
- Riggs also topped the 100-yard mark in last season's game at Ole Miss with 118.
- TB Arian Foster scored his first career touchdown on a 1-yard run and finished with 36 yards on 11 carries.
10 Receivers Catch Passes
- A season-high 10 different receivers caught passes for the Vols in today's game.
- WR Robert Meachem is the only UT player to have multiple catches in each game this season. He finished today with two catches for 19 yards.
- WR Lucas Taylor got his first career carry on a reverse that gained three yards.
- WR Austin Rogers made his first career catch on an 18-yard pass from Clausen in the second quarter.
Defense Dominates Another Game
- UT's defense has not allowed a team to rush for 100 yards this season (UAB: 53; Florida: 68; LSU: 98; Ole Miss: 50)
- Ole Miss was stopped on fourth down in the second quarter. UT opponents are 0-for-4 on fourth-down attempts this season.
- DE Robert Ayers' sack in the second quarter was his first career tackle.
- DB Jonathan Wade's 19-yard touchdown interception in the first quarter was his first career interception.
- The last time UT intercepted a pass for a touchdown was Nov. 17, 2001, at Kentucky when Rashad Moore intercepted a pass and fumbled it. Constantin Ritzmann recovered and scored the touchdown.
- DB Corey Campbell picked his seventh career interception late in the fourth quarter.

- Tennessee has had two field goals blocked this season after Ole Miss blocked UT's second-quarter field goal attempt. Florida blocked a field goal against the Vols earlier this year.
- Tennessee scored a touchdown on its opening drive for the first time this season. The only other time UT scored on an opening drive was a field goal against UAB.
- Today was the first game this season in which Tennessee scored in both halves.
- UT did not commit a turnover today. The last time the Vols did not have a turnover was Jan. 1, 2005, vs. Texas A&M in the Cotton Bowl.
- Former Vol Reggie White's No. 92 jersey was retired before the game, becoming just the fifth Vol to have his number retired. The others are Clyde Fuson (62), Bill Nowling (32), Rudy Klarer (49) and Willis Tucker (61), all of whom died during World War II.
