Sarah Harris joined the Tennessee Athletics staff in April 2024 as team travel manager and was named assistant athletics director of business strategy & operations in December 2024.
She is responsible for organizing, securing and strategically planning all team travel activity across the Athletics Department. The Morristown, New Jersey, native works in tandem with athletics staff, World Travel and the University's treasurer’s office to ensure seamless execution of team travel and adherence to all University policies.
Prior to joining Tennessee Athletics, Sarah served as director of football operations at the University of Connecticut and held positions in both football recruiting and operations at the University of Notre Dame. Sarah was on staff at Notre Dame during their 2012 undefeated season and subsequent 2013 National Championship appearance. She was also part of two top-10 nationally ranked recruiting classes while serving as the coordinator of on-campus recruiting at Notre Dame. During her three seasons at UConn, the football team earned an appearance in the 2015 St. Petersburg Bowl. Sarah was selected by the New England Patriots to participate in the 2017 NFL Women’s Career Development Symposium.
Sarah earned two degrees from the University of Notre Dame. She holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and a master’s degree from the Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business. As an undergraduate, Sarah was an athletics student manager. She worked with the football team in her first three years at Notre Dame and was the senior manager for the ND women's basketball team during her final year.
