The 2025-26Â campaign is the seventh season for Josh Theis with the Lady Vol program but his fifth year in a full-time capacity, accepting a role in May of 2021 and serving as director of video and creative content.
Theis, who served as a graduate manager with the Lady Vols from 2019-21, worked alongside the recruiting coordinator and coaching staff to create graphics and videos for use in recruiting and social media. He now has a leadership role in that area as well as in assisting the coaching staff in opponent scouting reports and coordinating all aspects of film exchange and video editing.
In addition to creating and developing recruiting content, he assists in cultivating image and branding for Tennessee women’s basketball, its student-athletes and coaches.
The Cincinnati, Ohio, native received his undergraduate degree in graphic design in 2019 from Xavier University. He spent four years with the Xavier men’s basketball team as a student program assistant, working with a squad that made an NCAA Elite Eight appearance in 2017 and won the BIG EAST regular season championship in 2018. He earned a master’s degree in sports management from the University of Tennessee in May 2021.
