- Finished her junior season with a 25-11 record, posting a 1.17 ERA over 226 2/3 innings pitched. Recorded 306 strikeouts and allowed an average of just 4.45 hits per seven innings.

In the sixth inning, Pickens made history by throwing the fastest pitch in softball history at 78.2 mph, surpassing the previous record of 77 mph

It was also the first instance of a no-hitter and perfect game combo in Tennessee softball history.
