HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB
- Ranked as the No. 7 player in Full Count Softball's Hot 100
- Led her club team the So Cal Athletics to national championships in 2012 and 2013 and a third-place finish in 2014
- Captained the So Cal Athletics 18U team for two years as well as their U16 and U14 teams for a year apiece
- In the So Cal A's 2014 run, Vines hit .500 (16-for-32) and displayed outstanding defense in the outfield with good instincts, range and fundamentals
- Played high school ball at Palos Verdes Peninsula where she hit .463 with 20 RBIs and had a .503 on-base percentage as a senior.
- Batted .425 or better during all four years of high school ball
- Hit .447 with 16 stolen bases as a freshman and .478 with 23 stolen bases as a sophomore
- Over the course of her summer ball and high school career, Vines stole over 70 bases
- On the So Cal Athletics, Vines was a three-year teammate of current Tennessee standout Megan Geer

- Majoring in Neuroscience
- Chose Tennessee over Stanford, Washington and Northwestern
- Says her biggest softball thrill was winning the Premier Girls Fastpitch (PGF) National Championship in 2012 & 2013
- Favorite musical group is Maroon 5
- Chose Tennessee because of "the great coaching staff, atmosphere on campus and great level of play"
- Aunt, Jstone Barnes played softball at Cal State Fullerton
- Says her biggest sports influence is her aunt Jstone Barnes, who was also a slapper
- Was a member of the Chinese National Honor Society and High School Church Ministry
- Hopes to become an OB/GYN after graduation
- Parents are Anthony and Christy Vines
- Has one younger brother, Christian Vines and one younger sister, Anna Vines
