2018 - JUNIOR
- Received a medical redshirt after making just three appearances before sustaining a season-ending injury
- Made first start of the season on Feb. 27 vs. Middle Tennessee, allowing a pair of runs in two innings of work
- Earned his second-career save by tossing two perfect innings to close out the game against Lipscomb (2/20)
2017 - SOPHOMORE
- Appeared in 15 games for the Vols during the 2017 season, going 2-1 with a 5.40 ERA and 30 strikeouts through 23.1 innings of work.
- Making his longest start of the year, he went 4.1 innings and allowed three runs on one hit for no decision at Eastern Kentucky (May 10).
- Allowed just one hit and no runs through 1.0 inning of work in the Smoky Mountain Challenge vs. ETSU at Smokies Stadium on April 26.
- Tossed 1.0 shutout inning of relief and struck out two batters against UNC Asheville on April 19.
- Charged with his first loss of the season after allowing one run on one hit against Georgia (April 1).
- Pitched a season-long 3.0 innings of work in his first start of 2017 on March 22 vs. Marshall. He allowed two runs on five hits and struck out two batters in the outing.
- Earned his second win of the season after firing three strikeouts through 2.0 innings of work versus Austin Peay on March 15.
- Went 2.1 innings in relief at San Diego State as part of the 2017 Tony Gwynn Classic (Feb. 24), allowing one run (none earned) on three hits while striking out four batters.
- Threw 1.0 scoreless frame at Loyola Marymount, helping UT secure an 8-4 win over the Lions (Feb. 22).
- Made his 2017 season debut on Feb. 17 at Memphis, allowing one run on three hits over 1.1 innings of relief.
- Vasquez threw 6.0 innings, allowing the San Luis Obispo Blues just one run on July 19. He fanned a season-high eight batters in the outing.
2016 - FRESHMAN
- Appeared in 17 games for the Vols during his debut season on Rocky Top, going 1-2 with one save, a 3.77 ERA and 25 strikeouts through 31.0 innings of work.
- Pitched 1.0 hitless inning in the Vols' 11-2 route of ETSU on May 17.
- Earned his first collegiate save on March 26 at Alabama. He allowed just one hit and no runs while fanning two batters through 1.0 inning of work.
- Threw 3.2 innings in a start vs. UC Irvine, giving up two runs over 3.2 innings (March 12).
- Struck out four in a start vs. Western Kentucky, giving up four runs (two earned) in 2.2 innings (March 8)
- Picked up his first career win in his first career start, striking out seven batters and allowing one run through 5.0 innings vs. Cincinnati (Mar. 2)
- Came in as a reliever in the Vols' 25-8 victory at Grand Canyon (Feb. 26).
- Made his collegiate debut on Feb. 20 vs. Memphis, recording his first strikeout, giving up one hit and allowing no runs in 0.2 innings on the mound.
HIGH SCHOOL
- Four-year varsity letterman and 2014 State Champion at Granite Hills High School in El Cajon, Calif.
- Ranked as the No. 25 player in the state of California entering his senior season in 2015.
- Helped his Eagles to a Division Championship as a junior, following a Division Runner-Up finish in 2013.
- In 2014, he hit .307 with 19 RBI and seven stolen bases, while maintaining an 8-0 record with a 2.25 ERA and 54 strikeouts on the mound.
- Named to the 2014 Cal Hi Sports All-State UnderClass First Team as a multi-purpose player at El Cajon HS.
- Took home multiple honors during his junior campaign in 2014, including All-League First Team and All-East County First Team.
