Two Lady Vols Earn Preseason Recognition from TopDrawerSoccer

Popular college soccer outlet TopDrawerSoccer.com revealed its preseason awards and Preseason Top-100 Player Rankings ahead of the 2026 season, with two Lady Vols earning recognition earlier this week.
Freshman forward Ayva Jordan was named to the Preseason Freshman Best XI, while junior goalkeeper Cayden Norris represented Tennessee in the Preseason Top-100 Player Rankings, checking in at No. 74.
Ranked as the No. 6 overall player in the freshman class by TopDrawerSoccer, Jordan is set to make an immediate impact on Tennessee's attack. The Las Vegas native had a decorated ECNL career including 2025 National Finals MVP, four-time All-America, and 2021 Player of the Year honors. Additionally, Jordan has represented the U.S. Youth National Team at various levels ranging from U-15 to U-19.
Norris returns between the sticks for Tennessee after a stellar sophomore campaign in 2025. She anchored the defense to a joint program-record 13 clean sheets, including seven consecutive shutouts to open the season. The Johnson City, Tennessee, native wrapped up 2025 with 46 saves and an impressive .793 save percentage.
Tennessee begins the 2026 season at Regal Soccer Stadium on Thursday, Aug. 13., as the Lady Vols welcome Rutgers to town for a 7 p.m. ET kickoff.
