LVFL Midgley Signs First Pro Contract with Lexington SC

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Tennessee soccer LVFL Mac Midgley has signed the first professional contract of her career with Lexington SC, the club announced on Monday.
Midgley joins the reigning Gainbridge Super League champions after an impressive four-year career with the Lady Vols. Behind a joint team-high four assists as a senior in 2025, she earned Second Team All-SEC, Second Team All-Southeast Region, and Fourth Team All-American honors. Her 1,232 minutes played in her senior campaign were the fourth-most on the team.
The Wolverine Lake, Michigan, native appeared in 70 games and made 56 starts during her career as a Lady Vol. Midgley accumulated tallies of eight goals, three of which were game-winners, ten assists, and 26 points during her time with Tennessee. Always an impactful player, she closed her collegiate career with 4,298 minutes played.
A familiar face will welcome Midgley to Lexington, as she will be reuniting with fellow LVFL Ally Brown. The pair spent their entire four-year collegiate careers together at Tennessee as both were named Fourth Team All-Americans in 2025, becoming the 11th and 12th All-Americans in program history.
After joining the club midway through the 2025-26 season, Brown helped Lexington SC to the Gainbridge Super League title in May. The club will look to repeat as champions as Midgley joins the fold for the 2026-27 season.
The duo of Brown and Midgley make up two of three former Tennessee soccer players currently signed to a Gainbridge Super League roster, joining Mackenzie George of Carolina Ascent FC.
