Tennessee Athletics Unveils Updated Traffic Flow for Luke Combs Concert and Upcoming Savannah Bananas Game
April 23, 2026 | General
Neyland Drive will feature a revised traffic pattern to help ease congestion
Â
Tennessee Athletics has worked closely with the City of Knoxville, Visit Knoxville, TDOT, KPD, UTPD, campus leadership, and engineering/planning consultant Kimley-Horn to find gameday traffic solutions for Vol Nation. An updated traffic flow plan will be tested for the two major May events at Neyland Stadium: Luke Combs' My Kinda Saturday Night Tour on May 2 and the Savannah Bananas game on May 23.
Â
After the concert, Neyland Drive will feature a revised traffic pattern to help ease congestion:
 · Three westbound lanes will guide vehicles toward Alcoa Highway, I-40, and Kingston Pike.
· The far-left lane will function as a Kingston Pike Express Lane for faster access and reduced bottlenecks.
Â
These changes are intended to streamline post-event departures. Enhancing the fan experience remains a central focus, and this updated traffic plan reflects ongoing efforts to improve operations for larger events at Neyland Stadium.
