February 19, 2026 | Soccer
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee soccer team has released a five-game schedule of exhibition matches set to take place this spring, as announced by head coach Joe Kirt on Thursday.
All five of Tennessee's spring opponents appeared in the 2025 NCAA tournament, with all but one earning a national seed.
The Lady Vols open the spring slate with a neutral-site contest against Notre Dame on March 21 in Louisville, Kentucky. The next match for Tennessee will be on March 28, a road game at Southeastern Conference foe Georgia.
The first home tie of the spring for Tennessee will come on April 11, when the Lady Vols host 2025 Conference USA champion Liberty. The second and final home contest for Tennessee will be on April 18, when Louisville comes to town. Both home matches are set to begin at noon EST.
Tennessee will hit the road for the team's final match of the spring, heading to West Virginia on April 25 for a meeting with the Mountaineers.
Both home exhibition matches at Regal Stadium will be open to fans with free admission. The matches will not be streamed on any platform.
The Lady Vols are coming off a historic 2025 season in which the team posted a 12-4-3 record. After achieving the first No. 1 ranking in program history in September, Tennessee closed the season by earning a three seed in the NCAA tournament, which ended with a heart-breaking defeat to North Carolina in round one at Regal Stadium.
Following the strong season, coach Kirt earned a contract extension through the fall of 2030. As the spring gets underway, seven incoming freshman and three incoming transfers are set to compete unofficially for the Lady Vols for the first time, joining 16 returning players.
