BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Two Lady Vols wrapped up the 2026 regular season with All-SEC soccer honors, as announced by the league office on Thursday.
Junior midfielder Ines Derrien was named Third Team All-SEC, while freshman forward Ayva Jordan was selected to the All-Freshman Team.
Derrien's selection marks the 12th consecutive season that Tennessee has had a representative on an All-SEC Team. She becomes the 43rd different All-SEC honoree in program history and 75th overall selection. The Lady Vols had four All-SEC recipients in 2025: Ally Brown (First Team), Mac Midgley (Second Team), Cayden Norris (Second Team) and Jenna Stayart (Third Team).
Jordan is the first Lady Vol since Reese Mattern in 2024 to earn a spot on the SEC All-Freshman Team. She is the 22nd All-Freshman Team honoree in program history.
Ines Derrien | M | Junior | Third Team All-SEC
A transfer from USC, Derrien made a large impact in the midfield during her debut season on Rocky Top in 2026. Starting all 16 matches, she accumulated the third-highest minute total among Tennessee field players with 1,230. Despite being a midfielder, Derrien was a consistent presence in the Lady Vol attack, scoring three goals and registering 29 shots, both figures ranking as the second most on the team. In addition to directly attacking the goal, Derrien's playmaking ability proved crucial for Tennessee. Her four assists led the team in 2026, including an assist in each of the Lady Vols' conference victories over LSU and Oklahoma. With a productive offensive output in terms of goal contributions this season, Derrien now owns career tallies of eight goals and nine assists in three seasons of college soccer.
Ayva Jordan | F | Freshman | All-Freshman Team
One of three freshmen to start at least nine matches for the Lady Vols, Jordan concluded the 2026 season with four points. She wasted little time making an impact early in the year for Tennessee, scoring the game-winning goal against South Alabama in the second match of the season. In addition to the goal, Jordan's other goal contributions this season were a pair of assists against highly-ranked opponents. She was credited with her first collegiate assist on Tennessee's lone goal in the 3-1 defeat to No. 3 Vanderbilt, before adding another assist on the Lady Vols' first-half goal at No. 7 Alabama, a contest that ended in a 2-1 defeat. Beyond making an impact for Tennessee, Jordan was also selected to participate in the U.S. National Team's U-20 World Cup Training Camp in Poland, which saw her miss two matches for the Lady Vols in early September.
