October 09, 2026 | Volleyball
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- No. 10 Tennessee powered past Ole Miss (25-15, 25-12, 25-14) as Food City Center packed out in Dark Mode on Friday night.
Kennedi Rogers lit the court on fire with seven service aces, leading the Lady Vols for the most aces in a three set match in the 25-point rally scoring era, narrowly edging out teammate Maggie Dostic, who held the previous record of six. The sophomore proved to be an offensive force to be reckoned with, leading the team in kills (14) and posting a .357 hitting percentage.
Jalyn Stout tacked on 10 kills of her own, earning her fourth double-digit kill performance, and 17 attacks. Chelsea Sutton and Anni Tang combined for nine kills and 20 attacks from the middle, showing consistency all around. As a team, Tennessee (11-3, 2-2 SEC) logged a 2026 season high of service aces in a match with 12.
The Lady Vols took a dominant start and maintained momentum throughout all three sets, stealing their tenth sweep of the season. Tennessee's defense held the Rebels (8-7, 2-2 SEC) to .014 in hitting percentage, while also outscoring them in kills (37-19), assists (32-19), blocks (7-4), and digs (29-25).
Tennessee took a blazing start to the first set, finishing 25-14 as the offense ignited the court with 13 kills, 10 aces, 10 digs and three blocks while maintaining the lead for the entire set. Rogers owned seven kills while Stout and Sutton added three apiece.
