Donna Douglas Earns Discus All-America Distinction To Wrap NCAA Championships

EUGENE, Ore. – Tennessee freshman Donna Douglas wrapped up the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in the women's discus final on Saturday, placing 16th overall for the Lady Vols at historic Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.
The rookie thrower from Jonesboro, Arkansas, earned Second Team All-America status for her performance, becoming UT's first athlete to claim All-America distinction in the women's discus since 2012. Her mark of 54.90 meters (180-1) came in the first round.
This marks the end of the 2025 collegiate season for Tennessee track & field. The Big Orange will head home to Rocky Top after collecting 14 outdoor All-America honors and earning a 14th-place team finish on the men's side. Including a 15th-place showing during the 2025 indoor season for the Lady Vols, UT head coach and director of track & field Duane Ross has guided his programs to 16 top-25 finishes since 2017.
