Shaw Earns Second Straight Golden Boot Award

LVFL Bunny Shaw added her second straight Golden Boot award to an already impressive resume following another solid season with Manchester City, the Women's Super League announced Saturday.
The Golden Boot is awarded annually to the top goal-scorer in the WSL. Shaw scored an impressive 12 goals in just 14 top-flight matches after suffering an injury that ended her season early and has shared this term's prize with Arsenal's Alessia Russo who plundered the same amount in 20 matches.
The former Lady Vol boasted the best goals per game average across the WSL with 0.85 per match.
In addition to her pair of Golden Boots, Shaw won the 2024 PFA Women's Player of the Year and FWA Women's Footballer of the Year titles, as well as the 2024 WSL Player of the Year.
In her time at Tennessee, Shaw was named the 2018 SEC Offensive Player of the Year and earned second-team All-America honors during her senior season. The Jamaican also left her mark on the Tennessee record book, sitting in the top three in points and goals in a single season along with the school record for game-winning goals in a campaign.
