KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee head women's golf coach Diana Cantú announced the signings of An Le Chuc and Tanjira Issaraphorn to the 2026 class.
The international duo brings a pair of experienced and polished resumes to Rocky Top, each picking up notable wins on various amateur and junior circuits.
The pair's signing continues the program's momentum for fifth-year head coach Cantú, who notched the highest-rated class in school history last year.
"We're incredibly excited about this outstanding group of young women. Each one of them brings not only exceptional talent on the course but a strong work ethic, character, dedication, and passion for team culture," Cantu said. "They are also wonderful human beings and a joy to be around! This class strengthens the foundation and positions us for continued success in the years ahead. Can't wait to have them on Rocky Top."
An Le Chuc | Hanoi, Vietnam
Le Chuc, who is the highest-rated Vietnamese junior golfer, currently sits No. 227 in World Amateur Golf Rankings after earning multiple international wins. She won three consecutive Vietnam National Championships along with a trio of victories at the 2025 SINGHA-SAT Experience at Trang An Open, 2025 VGA Junior Tour and 2025 Faldo Series Asia Grand Final.
"Chucky is a special kind of player, and her resume speaks for itself. It's the work ethic, dedication, and competitive drive that stood out for me during the recruiting process," Cantú said. "She is a winner. We are confident she will make an immediate impact within our team as soon as she steps foot on campus."
Tanjira Issaraphorn | Chonburi, Thailand
Issaraphorn, who is one of the top young talents in Thailand, sits 844th in WAGR after wins at the 2025 SINGA Thailand Ladies Amateur Open, Thailand National Team Qualifier and TGA SINGA Junior Golf. "We are thrilled to add Nene to our family and she brings Thai National team experience to our team," Cantú said. "She will bring a championship mindset and a relentless drive to get better every day."
