Tennessee Falls to Georgia on the Road, 2-0

ATHENS, Ga. - The Tennessee soccer team fell on the road to Georgia, 2-0.
UT (7-4-3, 2-3-2) put up 10 total shots and six shots on goal but was unable to break through.
Keaton Mitchell and Sammi Woods put two on frame apiece as Jasmine Boggs and Sarah Greiner each created a chance for the Lady Vols.
Ally Zazzara notched five saves in goal, including a penalty kick in the 85th minute.
The first half was a defensive battle, as Ally Zazzara notched three saves and both teams entered the break scoreless.
Georgia (7-4-5, 3-2-3) got on board in the 67th minute as Nicole Vernis found the bottom center of the net.
The Bulldogs' second goal of the night came from Dasia Torbert who poked it in the bottom left of the goal.
Boggs and Greiner sent in shots on goal in the 77th and 80th minutes to try and get something going for the Lady Vols.
Woods then created the final two chances of the night for Tennessee late in the match.
UP NEXT: Tennessee returns home Thursday for a 7 p.m. match against South Carolina.
