June Stewart Results Texas Invitational Results

Knoxville, Tenn. – The Tennessee women's tennis team went undefeated at the June Stewart Invitational on Friday, winning all singles matches in straight sets.

Sophomore Julie Ball collected a win over Liza Diachenko of Lipscomb 7-5, 6-0.

Sophomore Kylie Duckworth defeated Lipscomb's Maddox Bandy 7-5, 6-2.

Freshman Lyric Bonilla got the win over Eleanor Chapman of Lipscomb 6-2, 6-0.

In doubles play, the pair of Ball and Duckworth defeated Klapman/Gupta of MTSU 8-4.

In the Texas Invitational, freshman Callie Creath split her pair of singles matches on the day. She fell to Fernanda Labraña of Texas 2-6, 1-6 and bounced back to beat SMU's Katherine Jakeway in three sets (4-6, 7-5, 6-4).

Action at the both the June Stewart and Texas Invitationals will resume on Saturday at 10 a.m. ET.
