Tennessee Softball Announces 2019 Schedule

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee softball announced its 2018 schedule Monday. The slate includes 19 NCAA Tournament participants from last season, four of which went on to compete in the 2018 Women's College World Series.

Tennessee's first 11 games of the season will be played away from Knoxville, as the Lady Vols open the season in Myrtle Beach, S.C., on Feb. 8 for the Kickin' Chicken Classic with Coastal Carolina, Boston University and Illinois-Chicago.

UT will then travel to Clearwater, Fla., for the inaugural St. Pete Clearwater Elite Invitational from Feb. 15-17, an event that features four NCAA Tournament teams (Notre Dame, Minnesota, James Madison and reigning national champion Florida State).

Tennessee is scheduled to play 18 games at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium this season, beginning with the Tennessee Classic on Feb. 22. The Lady Vols will welcome Bradley, Virginia, Kansas, Louisville and Tennessee State to Knoxville.

Following the Tennessee Classic, the Big Orange travel to California for the Judi Garman Classic against UTSA, Fresno State, New Mexico, Michigan and Oregon from Feb. 28-March 3.

The Lady Vols' last regular season tournament is the Tennessee Invitational, played from March 15-17 in Sherri Parker Lee Stadium and features BYU and Texas.

In addition to regular season tournament-style events, Tennessee's non-conference slate features standalone games against ETSU (Feb. 19), Middle Tennessee (March 12), Liberty (March 19) and North Carolina (March 20).

The Lady Vols will also look to extend their 95-game unbeaten streak against in-state opponents with three games against foes from the Volunteer State (ETSU, Tennessee State, Middle Tennessee).

In conference play, Tennessee will play four home series and four road series, starting SEC play with a trip to Florida from March 8-10. The Lady Vols will host Arkansas (March 22-24), Auburn (April 6-8), Mississippi State (April 12-14) and Texas A&M (May 3-5).

The three conference road trips in addition to Florida will be to Missouri (March 30-April 1), Georgia (April 19-21) and Ole Miss (April 26-28).

The SEC Tournament will run from May 8-11 on the Texas A&M campus in College Station, Texas. NCAA Regionals run from May 17-19 on campus sites.

2018 Ticket Information
Current season ticket holders can renew now by calling the ticket office at (865) 656-1200 or by going to www.allvols.com and logging in to renew their seats. The deadline for season ticket renewals is Nov. 30. All new season tickets will be available for purchase on Dec. 11 to the general public by going to www.allvols.com. Single game tickets will be available in late January or early February and fans can contact the ticket office for more information.Â
