IRVINE, Calif. -- Current and former Tennessee stars made a big splash on Monday's opening day of World Cup of Softball X at Bill Barber Park.

She drew walks in the first and third innings and knocked an RBI single in the third to finish 1-for-1 with two runs, one RBI and two walks.
Tennessee alums and USA Softball Women's National Team veterans Raven Chavanne and Lauren Gibson squared off against fellow UT alum Cheyanne Tarango and Mexico in the final game of the day. Chavanne started as the DP went 2-for-2 with a RBI in the third inning that pushed the U.S. lead to 2-0. Gibson started at second base and went 1-for-1 with one RBI and two walks. Gibson drew a bases-loaded walk in the third to extend the Team USA lead to 3-0.
