KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Megan Geer had a three-run blast and four RBIs and Meghan Gregg hit a game-winning RBI double to give No. 11 Tennessee an 8-0, five-inning win over Purdue on Sunday in the Tennessee Invitational.

Tennessee (15-3) continued its home dominance with its third consecutive run-rule win on the weekend. Purdue (12-8) finished 2-3 in the Tennessee Invitational after dropping the final game.

Gretchen Aucoin and Rainey Gaffin combined for a one-hit shutout over five innings. Aucoin (7-2) earned the win after fanning six and allowing no hits over 3.1 innings. Gaffin finished the afternoon in the circle, striking out one and giving up one hit over 1.2 innings to earn the save, her first of the season.

Geer led the Lady Vols' offense in a 2-for-3 outing that included a three-run home run and an RBI single. Meghan Gregg, who has surged offensively this week, had a double and three RBIs.

Purdue ace Lilly Fecho (10-4) took the loss after allowing three runs over 2.1 frames. Gina Snyder gave up five more over two innings and Alex Whittemore surrendered Gregg's game-winning hit.

Tennessee took a 1-0 lead in the second inning when Geer sent a 3-2 pitch to right field for an RBI single, scoring Annie Aldrete from second base.

In the third inning, Gregg hit a sac fly to right field and Rainey Gaffin clubbed an RBI single to right field two batters later.

Geer stepped up once again in UT's five-run fifth inning. With two on and no outs, Geer connected on a 1-2 pitch, sending it over the wall in center field for a three-run homer. UT loaded the bases and Gregg delivered with a two-RBI double to left field to end the game.
