Vol Baseball Hosts Winter Camp, Dec. 27-30

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The Tennessee Baseball program will host their annual Winter Camps this month at Lindsey Nelson Stadium, with a youth camp scheduled for Dec. 27-28 and a high school winter camp slated for Dec. 29-30. Each camp aims to provide campers ages 6-13 and 14-high school senior level with the opportunity to gain valuable coaching and fundamental experience while preparing for the upcoming baseball season.
The individual clinics are open to any and all registrants ages 6-13 for the youth camp and 14-high school senior level for the high school camp. Players will have the chance to work side-by-side with the Tennessee baseball staff members, as well as coaches from more than a dozen universities and junior colleges around the country. Each camp will focus on key fundamentals and mental strategies of the game, including base running, hitting, pitching, defense and additional baseball-specific drills.
All instruction will take place at Lindsey Nelson Stadium, including use of the indoor facility and playing field on the University of Tennessee's main campus.
