2014 Halloween Extravaganza Invite
Immediately following the costume-clad scrimmage, fans will be welcomed to tour the baseball facilities and meet the current members of the Tennessee Baseball team for light trick or treating. All fans planning to attend are encouraged to wear their own Halloween costumes for the event, as the Vols will hold a fan costume contest of their own with prizes.
"I've done this type of event at other schools but this will be the first time for us here at Tennessee," Serrano said. "It's been a huge success and a lot of fun for the fans to see a different side of us. Our players will be dressed up to the nines and you may even see the coaching staff dressed up. Then we'll open up our facilities where people can come in, trick or treat with us and experience everything our players do on a daily basis."
Gates open at Lindsey Nelson Stadium beginning at 3 p.m. with the open house starting around 6 p.m. Baseball fans are directed to park in the GF1-4 parking lots (located behind Fraternities) near the stadium before 6 p.m., at which time parking will no longer be available without a parking fee. Fans will be granted access to the parking lots by showing the Halloween Extravaganza event flyer or mentioning 'Halloween Extravaganza' at the parking attendants prior to 6 p.m.
All fall practices and scrimmages are free and open to the public. A weekly fall practice schedule, including practice times, scrimmage times and a pitching schedule, is posted every Monday morning to UTSports.com/baseball.
