The 2012 ISF XIII Women's World Fastpitch Championship gets underway Friday in Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada. Team USA features Lady Vols infielder Lauren Gibson and co-head coach Karen Weekly, who is an assistant coach with the Eagles.

Team USA begins play with a match-up again Venezuela at 3 p.m. ET. Follow via Live Video Stream or Live Stats.

The Eagles come off a championship game appearance in the Canadian Open, where they fell to Japan, 9-6 in the final. Gibson hit .500 in the tournament with seven hits, a home run and four RBI.
