THE KENTUCKY GAME
- The Kentucky game is this season's Play 4Kay Game, formerly known as the Pink Zone, an initiative by the WBCA to promote breast cancer awareness. By way of 12,000 t-shirts in the seats of the arena, the fans will form an alternating pink and white checkerboard.
- Kentucky has never secured a win in Thompson-Boling Arena with the Wildcats' last win in Knoxville coming in Stokely Athletics Center in 1985.
- The Kentucky game will mark the first women's basketball game ever to be aired in 3D format on the ESPN family of networks.
- This game marks the first of the final three regular season home games for the Lady Vols. They will take on Arkansas (2/23) and Florida (2/26).
