THE SOUTH CAROLINA GAME
- This marks the 47th meeting between the two schools dating back to the 1972 season. Tennessee has defeated South Carolina in 40 consecutive meetings dating back to Jan. 23, 1980, when the Lady Vols' point guard was current associate head coach Holly Warlick.
- South Carolina assistant coach Nikki McCray knows her way around Thompson-Boling Arena. As a forward/guard wearing number 23 for the Lady Vols from 1991-95, McCray was a Kodak All-American.
- Overall, the Lady Vols have won 28 consecutive SEC games in Thompson-Boling Arena dating back to 2008. The Lady Vols last SEC home loss was to #7-ranked LSU on Feb. 14, 2008, 78-62.
- UT owns a league best record of 311-41 (.884) against all SEC teams dating back to the 1982-83 season.
