THE OLD DOMINION GAME

This marks the 45th meeting between the two schools dating back to the 1976-77 season. UT leads the series 35-9.

Tennessee will be looking to add to its 15-game winning streak over the Lady Monarchs dating back to the 1996-97 season.

the last time the Lady Vols posted a 7-3 record in the first 10 games to open a season was in 1996-97. Tennessee went on to win the 1997 NCAA Championship.

Lady Vol rookie point guard Ariel Massengale was cleared to play on Dec. 20. Massengale had missed three games (#20/21 DePaul, #11 Rutgers and UCLA) after suffering an injury to her left hand in practice on Dec. 8. She is expected to be in the starting line-up against Old Dominion.
