Eight Vols Become Ghosts in the Rafters

Eight Vol swimmers and divers join a fraternity of ghosts on Saturday afternoon during one of the program's most inspiring traditions.
It's senior day on The Hill and Patrick Beasley, Brad Craig, Michael DeRocco, Scott Friderichs, Mattias Kahlin, Geoff Sanders, Chris Winchell and Michael Wright will compete in the last home dual meet of their careers. But even though they won't be competing for the Big Orange in the pool, they will still be around to support UT.
Part of them, at least, will be around to cheer on the Vols.
At the very end of Saturday's senior day meet against Georgia and Indiana, these eight seniors will ascend into the rafters of the Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center and sign their names into the history of Tennessee swimming and diving.
Aside the names of Olympic gold medalists, All-Americas, NCAA and SEC champions, the 2010-11 senior class will ink their names and live on in Big Orange history.
The eight seniors will each go on to do different things with their lives, but they will always be Ghosts in the Rafters.
