2010 Christmas Camp Information
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - With the recent construction of one of the largest collegiate indoor hitting facilities in the nation and the close proximity of the Neyland-Thompson Indoor Sports Center, a little wintry weather is not going to slow down the University of Tennessee Baseball Christmas Camps which are still on track to start Monday morning.
The first camp, for players ages 7-12, is set to take place Dec. 27-28, while the second will run from Dec. 29-30 and will include players from the age of 13 up to 2011 high school seniors. Both camps will take place at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.
Those taking part in the camp will receive personal instruction from Tennessee Head Coach Todd Raleigh and the rest of the Volunteer coaching staff. Beginning his fourth year at the helm in Knoxville, Raleigh has produced a total of 44 MLB draft picks in 19 seasons as a collegiate coach.
Campers can pre-register by downloading the application above and walk-up registration will be available the morning of the camp. The cost of the 2010 Christmas Camp is $200. Registration or check in will be Monday, Dec. 27 beginning at 8 a.m. and Wednesday, Dec. 29 at 8 a.m. in the Neyland-Thompson Sports Center at 1704 Johnny Majors Blvd.
