Divers finish day one at Zone B

The Tennessee men???s diving team completed day one of the NCAA Zone B Championships in Auburn, Ala., on Friday, which featured the three-meter competition in the James E. Martin Aquatics Center.
Michael Muscari dove to a 21st-place finish with 293.00 points. Teammates Ryan Rincon and Chris Davis finished 26th and 28th, respectively. Rincon collected 276.80 points while Davis picked up 267.35. Georgia???s Chris Colwill won the event with 444.60 points.
???Our divers hopefully will put day one of their zone diving competition in their rear-view mirror,??? UT head coach John Trembley said. ???We expect to bring a diver to the NCAA championships this year, and we have two days of competition to accomplish that.???
The championships host SEC schools such as Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, and South Carolina in addition to other top programs such as Miami, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Clemson, North Carolina and Virginia.

Saturday is the second day of competition which will see one-meter diving action. The preliminaries begin at 1 p.m. (EST).
