Vols Start New Year against Georgia Tech

The Tennessee men???s swimming and diving team begins 2008 with a dual meet against Georgia Tech. The competition kicks off at 1 p.m. in the UT Student Aquatic Center.
The Vols enter the meet with an undefeated record in dual meets. They hold a 5-0 record and most recently finished fourth at the Texas Invitational against some of the nation???s top collegiate swimming programs. Tennessee currently ranks sixth in the nation.
Georgia Tech leads the all-time series 7-4 and holds a 4-2 edge in Knoxville. The last meeting between the two schools occurred in 2006 when the Volunteers readily beat the Yellow Jackets by a score of 136-97.
