Clinic Brochure??
This Saturday, prior to Tennessee???s football season-opener at California, another team of Volunteers will be taking the field in Knoxville to support the local community. For the third year in a row, UT???s baseball and softball coaches will host a free clinic for children ages 6-12 at Caswell Park on Winona Street. The clinic will run from 9 a.m. until noon.
???To begin my coaching career at Tennessee giving back to the community that supports our teams is an opportunity I couldn???t pass up,??? first-year baseball head coach Todd Raleigh said. ???It will be great to get out there and meet the fans, and it???s always fun to help kids learn how to play.???
Working in conjunction with the City of Knoxville Parks and Recreation Office, Raleigh, assistant baseball coaches Bradley LeCroy and Fred Corral, UT softball coaches Ralph and Karen Weekly and a select group of UT student-athletes will work with children to teach them the basic skills on the diamond. For many of these kids, the opportunity provides their first exposure to these great games.
