Vols Take on the Louisville Cardinals

The Tennessee men???s swimming and diving team kicks off the 2007-08 season with Saturday???s 11 a.m. dual meet at Louisville???s Ralph R. Wright Natatorium.??

???They have a virtually brand new aquatic complex,??? UT head coach John Trembley said. ???This is a much-improved team after last year. They have several international athletes who are exceptional performers, but I think we have athletes that can match them. They???re well-coached as well. So, I think this will be a good meet.???

Trembley labeled last week???s Orange and White Meet as unsatisfactory, and the Vols hope to redeem themselves against the Cardinals.

The two teams have met five times since 1986, as Tennessee remained undefeated after stomping Louisville 130-98 in last year???s season opener in Knoxville.
