The Tennessee men's swimming and diving team is adding some local talent with word that Jeff Inman of Athens will be a Vol for the 2005-06 season.
"Jeff is a tremendous individual medley and butterfly performer who will add some depth to our team," UT head coach John Trembley said.
He is coached at McMinn County High School by his mother Debra Inman. Inman is also under the tutelage of former-Vol Gardner Howland who coaches him on the Knoxville Pilot Aquatic Club.
Inman adds to an already superb group of newcomers for next season. The already talented group of signees include Peter Baer (San Juan Capistrano, Calif./Dana Hills HS), Stanley Czarnecki (Denver, Penn./Cucalico HS), James Dabney (Charlotte, N.C./Providence HS), Michael Russo (Norcross, Ga./Norcross HS), Zachary Samlund (Omaha, Neb./Westside HS), Burkley Showe (Columbus, Ohio/Thomas Worthington HS), Jeffrey Sudbury (Redding, Conn./Joel Barlow HS) and Andrew Thirlwell (Newcastle, England).
