The University of Tennessee Athletics Board annually recognizes the top male and female student-athlete in each grade classification. This year's honorees are: Senior - Dusty Johnson (baseball, 3.85) and Lindsay Hyatt (track, 3.90); Junior - Matthew Lapp (track & field, 3.71) and Marissa Allen (rowing, 4.0); Sophomore - Tyler Gustafson (swimming, 3.85) and Lindsey Groves (rowing, 4.0); Freshman Jeff Day (track & field, 4.00), Tino Weiss (golf, 4.0), Sidney Spencer (basketball, 4.0), Melissa Amado (soccer, 4.0), Lindsay Schutzler (softball, 4.0), Ashley Yeager (swimming, 4.0) and Blakely Griffith (tennis, 4.0).

Logistics and Transportation
Tyler Gustafson, a sophomore from Harrisonburg, Va., has consistently shown his hard work in both the pool and the classroom this year. This past season Gustafson qualified for the NCAA Championships while being named to the Southeastern Conference Winter Academic Honor Roll while earning the commendation of having the highest GPA on the swim team and of all sophomore student-athletes.
