The No. 13-ranked Tennessee men's swimming team travels to take on No. 7-ranked Georgia Friday at the Gabrielsen Natatorium in Athens, Ga.
Georgia returns to competition after a close dual meet vs. Texas, in which the Longhorns secured a victory in the final event by finishing first and third in the 400-meter freestyle relay.
This marks the third consecutive week the Vols have traveled to face a top-15 team, including a loss at top-ranked Auburn last week.
"Another short-course meter meet will help us prepare for NCAA competition," Tennessee head coach John Trembley said. "We are competing against Georgia in their home pool on senior day. Our teams are very evenly matched, and this meet should be decided by only a few points."
The talented Vol diving pair of Jevon Tarantino and Phillip Jones will try to follow up a strong showing last week at the USA Diving World Cup Trials with a solid performance this week. Jones missed making the World Cup team by one place last week.
Competition at Athens begins Friday at 6 p.m. (Eastern)
