Aqua Vols Complete Day Two of Bulldog Invitational

ATHENS, Ga. - Tennessee's Josh Fulton and Tyler Gustafson posted personal-best times to complete day two of the Bulldog Invitational in Athens, Ga.
Fulton snapped his personal best and clocked an NCAA provisional time in the 100 butterfly by touching the wall first with a time of 48.06. Gustafson broke his mark in the morning's preliminary session of the 200 freestyle. Gustafson's time of 1:39.00 was also good enough for an NCAA provisional time and his time of 1:39.15 in the night's final, gave him first place.
In the 50 freestyle, Cameron McDaniel swam to a seventh-place finish in a time of 20.95, while Gustafson swam a 20.92 in the morning's prelims. The NCAA provisional for the 50 free is 20.33. Earlier at the SECs, McDaniel split a 50 free of 20.31.
Freshman Kiel Huston tried to make his first NCAA Championships, but fell short by clocking a time of 56.32 in the 100 breaststroke. McDaniel also missed the mark by touching the wall in 57.87. The NCAA provisional for the 100 breast is 55.92.
The Bulldog Invitational will conclude Sunday with prelims beginning at 10 a.m. and finals slated for 5 p.m.
