Tennessee Divers Headed Back to Auburn

AUBURN, Ala. --The Tennessee diving squad travels back to Auburn, Ala. for the NCAA Zone "B" Diving Championships, March 14-16. The Diving participants at the NCAA Championships will be determined by their performances at their respective zone meets.
Jake Dorsey, Phillip Jones and Sal Vilardo are the divers who will be representing Tennessee and trying to make the cut for the 2003 NCAA Championships in Austin, Texas.
"We are always nervous for this meet," head diving coach Dave Parrington said. "It is the most nail biting meet for us because our divers only have one shot at making NCAAs."
Last year Jones was the only Vol diver to qualify for the NCAAs. After a disappointing SEC Championship, Jones looks to out do last year's third-place finishes on both the one-meter and three-meter springboards.
