Swimming and Diving Ranked Eighth in Latest CSCAA Poll

Tennessee is ranked No. 8 in the the latest College Swim Coaches Association of America's first poll of the season released today.
The Vols are 2-0 to start the season with wins over Southeastern Conference rivals Kentucky and LSU. Last Saturday, head coach John Trembley's 2002-03 squad defeated LSU 126-101.
Defending NCAA champion Texas is ranked No. 1 in the CSCAA poll to utdistance Auburn and Stanford by three points.The Vols face 10 teams ranked in this week's Top 25 during this season's dual meet schedule.
The SEC placed six teams in the top 25: Auburn (2), Florida (5), Tennessee (8), Georgia (12), Alabama (18) and Kentucky (21).
Tennessee plays host to the UT Diving Invitational this weekend, Nov. 8 at the Student Aquatic Center.
